What FirstPrep Canada does

FirstPrep Canada helps you inspect Canadian commercial-kitchen rental terms before asking for a complete quote. It is published by Albervos, the project and publisher brand.

This selected edition contains 21 operators or branches, 37 distinct rental offers and 36 original source references across all ten provinces. The three territories remain unresearched. It is a selected directory, not a complete market census or a measure of live capacity. Mobile kitchens are counted at their published base.

Use the same first-session scenario

Choose a session length from 0.5 to 24 hours in half-hour steps, filter by location, intended use or keyword, and inspect costs, required documents and sources. Save up to three offers in this browser, compare the same scenario, and copy a quote checklist to send yourself. All amounts are CAD.

Published minimums and full booking blocks still apply. Monthly allocations, annual commitments and ambiguous obligations require a commitment-specific quotation; the app does not invent a one-session price from them.

How to read the costs

Known charge components apply the published rental rules and disclosed mandatory fees. Deposits and booking advances are separate. A credited advance is counted once; unclear credit prevents a combined cash figure. Conditional and unpublished charges remain visible, and missing amounts never become zero. Additional taxes are not estimated.

No listing establishes a confirmed all-in first-booking price. Sorting by known components cannot establish the cheapest final booking. Availability, equipment, insurance, licences, permitted food activity and suitability for your business need direct confirmation.

Evidence and its limits

The research snapshot was checked on 25 October 2026. That is an evidence-check date, not a new effective date for every price. The dataset is not automatically refreshed. No operator was contacted and no quotation, booking or renter-specific approval was confirmed.

Qualifications remain beside the relevant offers and sources, including Centrale culinaire’s linked 2018 tariff, Halifax Brewery Market’s 2025 agreement, conflicting Palgrave deposit clauses, Culinarium access-hour conflicts, an inaccessible Scale document and indexed-only St. John’s evidence with a separately scoped 2023 vendor handbook.

Each listing links its original evidence. Read that evidence and ask the operator for current written terms. Download the source-linked dataset for the full recorded terms and source notes.

Independence and corrections

This release has no paid placement and contains no advertising or analytics scripts. Listing a kitchen does not imply an endorsement or affiliation. FirstPrep Canada does not arrange bookings, collect rental payments or certify regulatory compliance.
